Norway's resurrected Asker is eyeing Djurgården's Pedersen
Norwegian top club Asker, relegated from the Norwegian premier last year for financial reasons, has now secured promotion back to Toppserien. Asker's coach Eli Landsem lost several influental players last year, among them Lise Klaveness to Umeå and Bente Nordby to Djurgården/Älvsjö. She now states that she wants the resources to compete for the Norwegian championship and names among others Djurgården's midfielder Katrine Pedersen. The danish national team captain came to Djurgården a year ago from another Norwegian club, the 2005 bronze team Fløya.
