Nordby, Stensland and Klaveness to World Cup with Norway
Three Norwegian players in Damallsvenskan; Bente Nordby (Djurgården), Ingvild Stensland (Göteborg) and Lise Klaveness (Umeå), were named for Norway's World Cup team, that was announced earlier today.

Another future Damallsvenskan World Cup player, Sunnanå's Rebecca Smith, has captained her New Zealand team in two matches in USA the last days. First a 6-1 defeat against USA, where Smith scored the consolation goal for the Kiwis on a penalty kick, and then a 1-0 defeat against WPSL champions FC Indiana.
