The last warm-up matches (part 1)

IFK Lidingö - AIK 2-7 (2-3)
AIK played 3rd division side Lidingö in the local Victoria Cup, where the rules allowes free penalty kicks for the lower ranked team. Lidingö scored on two of their three PKs, but after that it was only AIK. Too slow and too much sideways passing in the first, better in the second. Really too weak opposition to tell much about the team's current form, but all in all I think AIK's had a good preseason. Goalscorers: Therese Sandström, Josefine Wejner, Lina Hedkvist, Anna Lundin, Maria Moustakakis and Hodan Siid-Ahmed (2).

Head coach Michael Bornehav was satisfied, good passing play creating many scoring opportunities. And goal keeper Hedvig Lindahl has yet to concede a goal for her club this season. Goals by Maria Aronsson (2), Ann Westermark, Maria Karlsson, Lotta Runesson och Lotta Rohlin.

Malmö FF - Husie 3-1 (0-1)
Malmö FF played their city rivals Husie from 1st division. Head coach Anders Johansson was satisfied with their revamped defense line (with Malin Andersson as a wing back), but so far they lack precision in the attack. Only 3 of 22 scoring opportunities resulted. A bit to work on still, the more since this was Formiga's first match fior the season. Goals by Formiga, Denise Reddy and Jenny Engwall.

Umeå - Mariehems SK P16 6-0 (4-0)
"Our best match so far this year", said assistant coach Hans Aggling after Umeå defeated a boy's side. High speed and good combinations made Umeå dominate. Picking a starting 11 for the match against Malmö FF next week will be hard. "We've got very good players on all positions. But the competition is stimulating for the players". Goals scored by Hanna Ljungberg (2), Anna Sjöström, Johanna Andersson and Elaine. Marta (sore groins) and Karolina Westberg (a cold) didn't play.

KIF Örebro - Falu BS 11-0
KIF Örebro had a field day with 1st division newcomers Falu BS. Kristine Lilly had a bit of problems in the beginning findning her position, running into offsides, but eventually got into her free role in the attack nad was part of most of the forward play. For Kate Markgraf and the defense it was a really slow day. Mayby KIF should have tried to find a more challenging opposition? Goalscorers: Louise Östman (3), Elin Magnusson (2), Kristine Lilly (2), Lisa Dahlkvist (2), Emelia Erixon, Mary Frances Monroe.
