A lot of the match was characterized by a kick-and-run play with a hard wind making it difficult to control the ball. Djurgården still pressured Linköping great parts of the match, but the somewhat make-shift centre defense Östberg-Larsson proved to be Linköping's greatest asset this match.

Hammarby had more possession and more shots at goal, but Sanna Valkonen directed AIK's defense with authority and Sofia Lundgren made a couple of valuable saves. AIK's Finnish centre line (Valkonen-Julin-Kalmari) proved that they are the ones to keep the team in Damallsvenskan and and Sara Johansson showed that she will score Hammarby's goals, if anyone doubted that.

Bälinge performed well in the attack, where Kent and Talonen will be something to watch in Damallsvenskan, while their defense needs more work.
