Sunnanå's Rebecca Smith, New Zealand's national team captain, has agreed to yet another year with the club. She has had offers from other clubs, including from USA, and will, unlike the last two years, only get a part time deal with Sunnanå, but still chose to stay. Smith has been troubled by a knee injury since before the World Cup, but that doesn't trouble the club. "She should be ok in February and there is plenty of time until the season start". Rebecca Smith is the 15th player to sign for Sunnanå 2008 team.

First division side Öster's talented young defender Petronella Ekeroth visited Linköping in her tour to Damallsvenskan clubs. She has already visited Umeå IK and AIK, Djurgården, Örebro and Kristianstad are also on the list over clubs that hav announced their interest. The 18 year old says it is a big and very hard decision wether to sign for one of the big clubs and risk benchtime or go for a smaller one, where she probably could get more match experience.

Qbik's team captain Jenny Hallstensson, who has been with the club since she was 8 years old, is close to moving to Göteborg. The club's new Torbjörn Nilsson has expressed serious interest in the 27 year old defender/midfielder and Hallstensson says that she would like to continue playing at the highest level.
