Umeå Södra offers contracts to three international players

Newcomers Umeå Södra has offered contracts to three foreign national team players. The first one has already been mentioned here, Finland's goalkeeper Minna Meriluoto, presently at FC United in Finland. The two others are "relatively well known names" according to sport director Ola Carlén, but he wants keep their identity secret until he has their signatures. He does however reveal that it is two players who played for Damallsvenskan clubs this last season and has national team experience. One of them is a defender/midfielder while the other is more offensive.
All three players are offered professional full time contracts, but Carlén adds that "they will probably want to have another job on the side". The newly promoted club will probably have the smallest budget of all Damallsvenskan clubs 2008 and pay wages accordingly.
Carlén obviously wants to keep the identity his two remaining prospects secret, but he gives up a lot of information that narrows it down to only a few players. My guess is that we are talking about either a Nigerian (Faith Ikidi and Maureen Mmadu or Cynthia Uwak) or a USA (Jill Oakes and Kacey White) duo, even if some lesser known names also fits the description.
