Johanna Frisk accepts offer from Los Angeles Sol
Umeå's defender Johanna Frisk today revealed that she has accepted a contract offer from the WPS club Los Angeles Sol. She says they have agreed on a three year contract. Frisk has been 3 years in Umeå and has been a starting centre back since she returned from the knee injury she recieved 2007.
Johanna Frisk recieved the offer from the Sol after Marta had inquired about the possibility in her negotiations with the club. But Frisk doesn't want to comment on Marta's possible contract with the Los Angeles club: "I have decided what's best for me and I can't worry about what's best for someone else".
Whatever. Let's at least agree that Frisk's deal strengthens the theory that Marta will play for Los Angeles come March 29. If that really needs reinforcing.

The Brazilian player training with LDC FC Malmö I mentioned yesterday isn't Brazilian at all. It is the 25 years old forward Tasha St Louis from Trinidad/Tobago. She has been a national team stand-out since her first cap at 17 and has played for the successful American clubs New Jersey Wildcats and FC Indiana.
St Louis got in touch with Malmö through her agent and assistant coach Martin Sjöberg says she is worth checking out. "She looks interesting with good ball skills and a natural technique" he comments. "The big question is if she will be able to make the transition to the Swedish conditions with a much higher pace and more physical game".
Tasha St Louis will traing with the club for a week.
