Time is running out for Hanna Ljungberg
On June 20 Hanna Ljungberg left the Sweden-Hungary match with an injured calf. The prognosis then was four to six weeks rest and rehabilitation before she could play again. Four weeks later Hanna says there is no way she could play today: "I might try to start running a bit this week, but I'm not taking any risks". But time is running out. She will, at the most, get to play three matches before the World Cup squad will be announced. But as the hardened forward comments "I'm used to be injured and I'm good at getting back again".

Asthildur Helgadottir, Malmö's and Iceland's 31 years old forward, will have surgery to deal with a meniskus problem that has troubled her since early this season. Her coach Jörgen Pettersson hopes to have her back in October for the last Damallsvenskan matches.

Do you think she will be ready in time?
I don't know...I don't think she will be able to play the whole game...hopefully half of it.
