Disappointing loss, says Sunnanå coach

"It's really disappointing to lose on a crap goal like that!", commented Sunnanå's coach Kenneth Isaksson after yesterday's season opener against Djurgården/Älvsjö. "But they did a great game against what might be the best team in Europe", added his assistant Björn Israelsson. Djurgården/Älvsjö's Mikael Söderman thought that maybe that first goal after only 2 minutes wasn't that good: "We didn't need that early goal, it seems like it just made the girls too relaxed". Both coaches was also impressed by Tiffeny Milbrett, the more since this was her first real match for a year and a half.

Djurgården/Älvsjö's goalscorer Linda Lekander says she didn't see what happened on her goal, but was really relieved to see the ball ion the goal. She came from Hammarby this year and thinks the difference is big, like her being benched occasionally: "But with a squad like this everyone will spend some time on the bench." Tiffeny Milbrett was fairly pleased with her team's performance, even if neither she nor Hanna Marklund were satisfied with the result.

522 coming to watch the home opener for one of the world's best club teams is really disappointing thinks player, coach and management for Djurgården/Älvsjö. It was at least a thousand less than they had hoped for. "We need to work more on this", says coach Mikael Söderman.
