Training match round-up
Umeå IK - QBIK 3-0 (1-0)
Umeå and QBIK, both on camp in Turkey, made use of the opportunity to play a training match. Umeå started really fast, which QBIK had problems to handle. First Umeå goal already after 2 minutes by Anna Sjöström, who had a great day, contributing with the assists for the two other goals. But QBIK managed to get their defensive play in order and shut out Umeå for almost 75 minutes, when Maria Nordbrandt and Elaine scored. Even if the lead was narrow for a long time Umeå was never threatened - QBIK was forced to play defense almost the entire match. QBIK's best player defender Marie-Louise Skålberg, who had Sjöström at her wing, had to limp off with a knee injury after 60 minutes. She will probably be out for 3 or 4 weeks.
