Gossip has it, she's going back to get married.

Since Finland narrowly lost out in their World Cup qualification, they now have 2 "dead" years before they host the 2009 European Championships. Minna, just as Anne Mäkinen, moved to Europe to prepare for the 2005 Euros and stayed to try to qualify for China. Minna must be close to 30 and moving back to USA to get married, indicates to me that she isn't really aiming at football on an international level any longer.
