Arsenal interest for Hedvig Lindahl
England's perennial champions Arsenal LFC has contacted Linköping FC and goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl to discuss a possible transfer. Lindahl is as previously reported negotiating a new contract with Linköping, but there seems to be some problems reaching an agreement.
Hedvig Lindahl confirms that Arsenal has taken contact, "but I haven't talked to them myself yet". She says that Arsenal would be a very exciting alternative if things doesn't work out with Linköping, but she is a little bit worried about how a move to England would affect her national team career.
