Marta talks contract, Caroline Jönsson extends
Marta's agent Fabiano Farah will travel to Umeå with the Brazilian national team. Umeå's Roland Arnqvist has set up a meeting to discuss Marta's contract with him. "We will do everything to keep Marta", he says. "She is our main priority". Umeå wants to sign a long-term contract with Marta and they would prefer to finish negotiations before the World Cup.
Umeå will also negotiate an extension of Elaine's contract. "She is very important for us. We would really like to keep both of them for the next season".
