Öqvist injury might put WWC start in jeopardy

The knee injury, that forced Linköping's Josefine Öqvist to break the match against Göteborg yesterday, might be more serious than first impression indicated. Her club physicist Jan Ekstrand will make an exploratory surgery tomorrow, Friday. "I can make a good guess on what the problem is, but I've learned not to do that", Ekstrand answered questions from journalists on the nature of the injury. Hopes, not the least from Öqvist, are still that it will turn out to be a less severe ligament or meniskus injury, that usually takes about a month to heal. Öqvist, who has been a regular starter with the national team this year, will be the fourth Linköping player to undergo knee surgery this season.

LFC have had the worst luck with injuries this season.
Jossan becoming the forth LFC player to have knee surgery this season - the players must be wondering what is going on!! Have to feel sorry for the LFC girls - extremely unlucky
