Jessica Landström to Linköping

Hammarby's forward Jessica Landström will spend the next season at Linköping. The 22 year old has signed for one year and says she wants to play in the Olympic for Sweden and score a lot of goals for Linköping.
Landström is joined by 18 year old Petronella Ekroth. The young midfielder, presently playing for Östers IF in the 1st division, has been sought after by half the damallsvenskan clubs, including Umeå. "I want to take one step at the time", she explains her decision to turn down Umeå.

Umeå Södra has now signed a contract with Finnish national team goalkeeper Minna Merilouto. The 22 year old FC United keeper says that the opportunity to play in Damallsvenskan will mean a lot for her development as a player. Södra also reveals that one of the other two international players they're talking to is Finland's Petra Vaelma. The 25 year old has 60 caps for Finland and has played for Bälinge the 2007 season. Not entirely successful though, since she was on loan to 1st division side Eskilstuna the last part of the season.
