Some clubs were playing warm-up games in the week before the league restart. Malmö played their Danish neighbours Brøndby. Both sides rested their World Cup players and put a lot of youth on the field. Malmö won 3-2, goals by Emma Stålhammar, Frida Nordin and Louise Östman. Sunnanå played northern 2nd division side Alvik and won an impressing 8-0 victory with goals from 7 different players. In Stockholm Djurgården, without Ariane Hingst and Bente Nordby, played Hammarby and settled their position as the capitals undisputed number 1, winning 3-1 after goals by Anna Lagerberth, Jane Törnqvist and Sara Thunebro. Sara Johansson scored for Hammarby. And Kopparbergs/Göteborg only managed a draw against Falköping, 4-4. Falköping's Sandra Krantz made a hat-trick while Emmelie Farfa, Maria Karlsson (2) and Sara Lindén scored for a Göteborg side, that played wiothout their World Cup players Lotta Schelin and Ingvild Stensland and also rested Marlene Sjöberg, Salina Olsson and Jenny Engwall.
