Damallsvenskan: Stockholm derby draw
Djurgården - AIK - (1-1)
Djurgården: Nadine Angerer - Madelene Göras, Ariane Hingst, Therese Brogårde, Sara Thunebro - Marijke Callebaut, Ann-Marie Norlin, Anna Hall, Rebecca Johnson (46 Linda Sällström) - Jennifer Meier (66 Anna Lagerberth), Victoria Svensson

Goals: 0-1 Lisa de Vanna (20), 1-1 Marijke Callebaut (31)
Attendance: 1,012
AIK opened best and got the lead when Lisa de Vanna chipped Nadine Angerer in Djurgården's goal. The match was closely fought with fairly few scoring opportunities, but quite a lot of possession for AIK. Marijke Callebaut equalised after ten minutes, capitalising on the good preparation by Victoria Svensson. In the second half, and the more the longer the game continued, Djurgården took over and pressed hard the last 15 minutes. It still ended in a draw.
"AIK will be one of the top teams this season", commented Djurgården's coach Anders Johansson. AIK's Elin Ekblom, last year in Djurgården, pointed out that Djurgården always are supposed to win, while AIK can go in and play without that pressure. At least they have so far. After a narrow 1-0 loss to last years number one Umeå and 1-1 against the number two, it feels like they're on the right track.
