Schelin and Ljungberg missing in Sweden's squad for Euro qualifiers
Both Lotta Schelin and Hanna Ljungberg will be missing when Sweden goes to Hungary May 3 and than hosts Italy four days later in two important qualifying matches for the 2009 European Championships. Schelin is as earlier reported out for a month since Göteborg's match against LDB FC and Hanna is gfeeling from an old injury since a training session last Tuesday. National team coach Thomas Dennerby is still confident: "Our goal is to qualify without losing any points and that doesn't change because of this".
Another missing veteran is Umeå's defender Karolina Westberg, who has missed Umeå's opening matches in Damallsvenskan to injury. "She is competing with six healthy players that has been playing regulary", explains Dennerby.
